WEB Hosts Germany have secured their place in the last-16 of the UEFA European Championship with a 2-0 win over Hungary in Munich.
Jamal Musiala put the Germans ahead in the 11th minute, with Ilkay Gundogan doubling their lead just after the hour mark. The victory marks Germany's first competitive win over Hungary since the 1954 World Cup.
With the win, Germany moved up to second place in Group F with four points, behind leaders France. Hungary, who had drawn with Portugal in their previous match, remain in fourth place with one point.
Germany will face Portugal in their final group match on Wednesday, while Hungary will take on France. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
